Senior Registered Behavior Technician

De Anza Blvd., Suite A201, San Jose, CA 95129 Position Type: Part-Time About Us: Cogleap Center for Achievement has been a pioneer in providing effective interventions for children with neurodevelopmental challenges. Currently, we are expanding our clinical services to offer clinic-based ABA services alongside our HFS Cognitive Training Program Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Registered Behavior Technician to join our dynamic clinical team as a Senior Registered Behavior Technician (Sr. RBT). The Sr. RBT will have a hybrid position of providing direct ABA and assisting the BCBA supervisor with supervision, parent training, assessments, research, training, community education talks, and program development. This provides the unique opportunity to obtain unrestricted hours to become a BCBA. The potential for rapid growth is available as the department grows. Key Responsibilities: · Provide direct clinical services to clients in a clinic setting- no driving around! · Assist and learn from a BCBA on how to do assessments, supervision, and parent training to accrue unrestricted hours. · Assist and learn from a BCBA on how to complete program development, data analysis, research, and community engagement to accrue unrestricted hours. · Train new staff on Cogleap ABA model, and assist BCBA with RBT Competency Checks which also accrues unrestricted hours. · Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. · Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that promotes professional growth and development. · Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation and records. · Represent the organization in the community and with stakeholders, promoting our mission and services. Qualifications: · Enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field and working toward obtaining the BCBA credential. · Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in ABA. · Previous experience with the EHR/PMS system WebABA and the data collection software Catalyst preferred (not required). · Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. · Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, staff, and other professionals. · Commitment to ethical standards and continuous professional development.
